Directions:

1. Gather the following materials:

Soap Powder
Hot Water
Sugar
Measuring Cup
Measuring Spoons
Wire
String
A Straw
A Bucket (or other container deep enough to use for dipping)

2. Put three or four tablespoons of soap powder into four cups of hot water. Stir it well to dissolve the soap. Let the mixture stand for three days.

3. Before you use it, stir in a heaping tablespoon of sugar (this makes the bubbles last longer).Note: You may want to experiment with the bubble soap recipe to get the best results.

4. Twist the wire into different shapes and try to blow different types of bubbles with them. Try making geometric solids (cubes, pyramids, etc.) to see what types of bubbles you can make. Do they make the shapes that you expect?

5. Use the string to make different shapes or sheets of bubbles. Use the straw to try and blow a bubble within a bubble, or other bubble tricks!

6. Look at the bubble in the light and watch a rainbow of colors appear!
