Classwork

• Grade 7:
  • Begin the Helicopter Drop Lab (Click here for a copy of the experiment sheet and materials)
• Grade 8:
  • Matter & Molecules- Lesson 1.2 and Demonstration 1.2
  • Lesson Packet 4 (Is it matter or energy?) and Lesson Packet 5 (What is a solid?)

Homework

• Grade 7:
  • No homework!
• Grade 8:
  • By September 22, 2006, bring in an empty cereal box that is at least 11" tall and 4" wide (10 3/4" tall is okay, but no shorter!). The height measurements do not include the box flaps!
  • Finish the packet with Lessons 4 & 5 and make sure that you have finished the questions for Matter & Molecules Demonstration 1.2 (both are due tomorrow!).
